Freeriding Camp Basic

The tactics of freeriding!

The techniques and tactics of freeriding are the emphasis of our Freeride Camp Basic. Together with our qualified skiing instructors you can fully enjoy your first off slope experiences. The Freeride Camp Basic takes place all over the Arlberg region.

Requirements: secure, parallel skiing

Course: The Freeride Camps Classic last for 3 days, starting on Sunday till Tuesday. The safety training which is part of the Camp takes place on late Sunday afternoon. Booking additional days is of course possible. Participants: min 4, max 8 persons

In the period from 30.12.2019 to 05.01.2020 this course can only be booked on request.

Freeriden – Safety first!

While skiing in open, alpine terrain is a lot of fun, we should keep in mind that skiing off piste can still be very dangerous. Maximum safety is the top priority in all our Freeride Camps.

Safetyfactor 1: 
Highly qualified Mountain Guides and Skiinstructors are guiding you. Depending on the newest avalanche bulletin and weather forcast the decide where they will go. For Safety reasons we take maximum 8 people in a group.

Safetyfactor 2:
All participants must be equipped with personal safety gear (helmet, avalanche beacon, shovel, avalanche probe) and will receive a detailed introduction on how to handle the safety equipment.

Safetyfactor 3:
The maximum safety is guaranteed by the new BCA-System. In case of an avalanche airbags will ensure people will stay closer to the surface and the chances of survival will increase to over 90%. The rental price is Euro 55,- and very cheap.
